Originally from the Canadian Maritimes, Anthony Oscar now lives in New Orleans. Raised on folk and sixties rock, his music reflects sounds from the Atlantic to the Dustbowl Plains. Lyric-driven folk music with echoes of blues, roots, mountain, rock, and country that dot the landscape of his song writing. Though sometimes hard-hitting, his songs tend toward the sweeter side of life’s ups-and-downs. Anthony provides a clean breath and thoughtfulness beneath all of the static and clamouring chatter going on today.
